Free Parking in Dubai

The RTA confirmed that all public parking will be free of charge on Monday, December 2, and Tuesday, December 3, 2024. This free parking period does not include multi-level parking terminals.

For most residents, this means a three-day free parking period, as parking is also free on Sundays. Regular parking tariffs will resume on Wednesday, December 4.

A Long Weekend for UAE Residents

The Eid Al Etihad holiday provides residents in both public and private sectors a four-day long weekend, with official holidays on Monday, December 2, and Tuesday, December 3. Work will resume on Wednesday, December 4.

For government employees in Sharjah, the break is even longer, with a five-day holiday starting from the preceding weekend.

Celebrating 53 Years of Unity

The UAE’s National Day, renamed Eid Al Etihad, marks the unification of the seven Emirates in 1971. This year, the nation celebrates 53 years of progress and prosperity, with festivities planned across the country. The official celebration will take place amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Al Ain, featuring cultural performances, tributes to the UAE’s heritage, and a grand display of fireworks.

Enjoy the Holiday with Free Parking

The free parking initiative by Dubai’s RTA ensures convenience for residents and visitors during the festivities. With numerous events and celebrations lined up, parking exemptions aim to enhance mobility and encourage participation in the joyous occasion.
